Minnesota Children’s Museum of Rochester is now Spark!

Announcing our New Family Date Night Series

You asked, we listened!  Our visitors and members have given us feedback on the importance of families being able to connect in fun and meaningful ways and having access to engaging and educational special programs for the whole family!

The museum uniquely provides this type of space where families can play, grow and learn together and is committed to providing opportunities to develop lifelong skills that benefit children, families and the entire community.

To that end, we are thrilled to announce a new series of events at Minnesota Children’s Museum Rochester called Family Date Nights.  These Family Date Nights will be the perfect opportunity to bond and have fun as a family!    We have a great line up planned for these events, with topics that have been selected based on your input on the type of activities you would like to see offered:

November 4th:  Science Night, featuring the Weather Team from ABC 6 and their Weather Lab Program.  Through exciting experiments & weather-focused presentations, ABC 6 Meteorologists will share their knowledge & passion for science.

February 10th:  Arts Night, featuring local filmmakers, families will have an opportunity to try their hand at stop motion filmmaking and get behind the camera to learn what goes into making a film.  We will then watch a movie together.  Pajama and Popcorn Party at the museum

April 14th:  Culinary Night, featuring food from various cultures.  Come learn about language, flavors, and how your favorite meals are made and even try your skills.  You be the Chef! local chefs helping families create a selection of healthy and interesting menu items from appetizers to desert.

Each date night will run from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and light dinner will also be included.  Click here for additional information, including how to purchase tickets.
